Responsibilities
Assist in overseeing daily operations to ensure high standards of food safety and quality are maintained.
Supervise kitchen staff and coordinate food production activities to optimise efficiency.
Train and mentor team members in food preparation techniques and service standards.
Manage inventory levels, ensuring that all necessary supplies are available for seamless operations.
Uphold exceptional customer service standards by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Collaborate with the management team to implement strategies for improving service delivery and operational efficiency.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen and dining areas.
Participate in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
Experience
Previous experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential.
Strong culinary skills with a solid understanding of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
Experience in team management, demonstrating the ability to lead by example and motivate staff effectively.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices for maintaining hygiene standards in food production.
A background in barista services or hotel operations is advantageous but not mandatory.
