About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated

Assistant Bodyshop Manager / Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA)

to join our busy and well-established bodyshop. This is a hands-on role combining technical estimating with day-to-day operational support, ideal for someone looking to take the next step in their career or already operating in a similar position.

You will play a key role in ensuring repairs are accurately assessed, work is efficiently scheduled, and customers receive a high standard of service throughout the repair process.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out accurate vehicle damage assessments and produce detailed repair estimates Liaise with insurers, engineers, suppliers, and customers Support the Bodyshop Manager with daily operations and workflow planning Monitor repair progress to ensure quality, efficiency, and agreed timescales are met Handle customer queries and updates professionally and confidently Ensure health & safety and industry standards are adhered to at all times
About You

Proven experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA) and/or in a bodyshop supervisory role Strong knowledge of bodyshop repair methods and estimating systems (e.g. Audatex, or similar) Excellent organisational and communication skills Ability to work under pressure A proactive, problem-solving mindset with attention to detail Full UK driving licence preferred

Pay: 30,000.00-35,000.00 per year
