We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of our hospitality establishment. Responsibilities
Assist in managing daily coffee shop operations, ensuring smooth service delivery
Supervise and motivate team members
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene practices
Support in training new staff and ongoing professional development of team members
Manage customer service issues promptly and professionally, fostering a welcoming environment
Coordinate with suppliers and manage stock levels to ensure efficient kitchen operations
Assist in planning menus and special events, contributing ideas and innovations
Maintain organisational standards in cleanliness, safety, and presentation throughout the premises
Requirements
Proven supervising experience within a restaurant, hospitality, or cafe environment
Strong leadership qualities with excellent team management skills
Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and food safety procedures
Experience in food production, kitchen operations, or culinary roles preferred
Familiarity with restaurant service standards including serving and hospitality best practices
Previous experience in managing or supporting food safety compliance programmes
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Relevant experience such as barista training is essential
