The Position
We are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Manager to support the Branch Manager in the smooth, efficient, and safe running of the store. The goal is to support the Branch Manager with customer service and any issues or queries customers may have.

Key Responsibilities
Staff management & motivation
Set the teams daily tasks and ensure they are completed, e.g. order processing and merchandising
Holidays and Attendance
Administrate Fringe benefits
Stock
Stock ordering & processing
Stock movement - Transfers
Damages, returns and credits
Customers
Ensure all customers are registered compliantly
Administer retros, contracts and special pricing
Debt Management
Data Management
Branch administration
Till reconciliation and banking
Attendance and holiday forms
Ensure procedures are complete and up to date
Support the branch manager in ensuring the daily planner is followed through
Support the branch manager in preparing and delivering monthly reports
Branch operations
As a key holder you will be required to open and close the store when necessary
Commercial program
Support the Branch Manager in monitoring and delivering branch targets
Follow up Branch dashboard insights
Manage branch customers record cards and territory booklet
Sales and Marketing program
Support the Branch Manager with product knowledge training and understanding
Brief team on promotional activity
Keep updated on industry news and developments
Ensure the following elements of the commercial program as set out in the commercial bulletin and commercial briefings are executed
Email Marketing
Social Media posts and tags
VAT FREE Events
Telephone program
Manage the weekly call schedule
Deliver the telephone push programs
Maintain telephone record cards
Personal training and Development
Work alongside and develop team members
Engage with the Aston and Fincher training and Development program
Engage with the Appraisal program
The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the company and the overall business objectives.

Working Hours and Job Location
The working hours for this role are 36.75 hours a week.
Monday to Thursday 8.15am - 5.00pm and Friday 8.15am-1.00pm
