We are seeking a Head Server to join our team at il posticino ltd in Canterbury. In this pivotal role, you will lead the front of house , ensuring that every guest enjoys a memorable dining experience while upholding our commitment to authenticity and excellence.

Responsibilities

Lead and take responsibilities of front of house to deliver exceptional service. Oversee dining room operations to ensure a smooth workflow. Manage guest interactions and resolve any issues promptly. Maintain high standards of food safety and cleanliness. Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a restaurant setting, preferably as a server or head server. Strong knowledge of hospitality standards and food safety regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills for handling transactions and tips. Experience with upselling techniques is a plus. Passion for Italian cuisine and culture.
