Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Manager to oversee the daily operations of our nursery. Responsibilities

Manage the overall operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Lead and support a team of childcare professionals, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment. Develop and implement engaging educational programmes that cater to the developmental needs of children. Maintain effective communication with parents regarding their children's progress and nursery activities. Oversee the recruitment, training, and performance management of nursery staff. Ensure that all health and safety protocols are adhered to within the nursery setting. Foster relationships with local community resources and organisations to enhance nursery services. Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure the sustainability of the nursery.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a management role within a childcare or nursery setting. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. Relevant qualifications in early childhood education or childcare (e.g., Level 3 or above). Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Experience working with children in a nurturing environment is essential. A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate travel for nursery-related activities. A commitment to continuous professional development in early childhood education practices.
