Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to assist the manager oversee daily operations within The Tots Team.

The ideal candidate will possess strong management and leadership skills, along with a genuine passion for working with children. This role offers an opportunity to lead a team of childcare professionals, ensure high standards of care, and foster a nurturing environment for young learners. Applicants must have relevant nursery experience as you will be room and office based and be committed to providing exceptional childcare services.

Duties

Assist with the daily running of the nursery, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to the EYFS Lead, motivate, and support a team of childcare staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment Room lead and provide support Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe environment for children and staff Build strong relationships with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on children's progress and wellbeing

Experience

Proven management experience within a nursery or early childhood education setting Extensive knowledge of EYFS Experience working directly with children across various age groups Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team effectively Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written

Pay: From 15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
