We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Operations Manager to support our operational team in enhancing efficiency and productivity. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring that processes run smoothly while maintaining high standards of quality and service. Responsibilities

Assist in managing day-to-day operations to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. Collaborate with the Operations Manager to implement strategies for process improvement. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports for management review. Train, mentor, and supervise staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. Facilitate communication between departments to promote teamwork and resolve any operational issues. Assist in inventory management, including stock control and order processing. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the workplace. Support the development of operational budgets and forecasts.

Experience

Proven experience in an operations management role or similar position is preferred. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail. Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in team management. Proficient in using operational software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of the organisation. A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on continuous improvement.
