The Assistant Pharmacy Manager plays a central role in leading day-to-day pharmacy operations, driving a culture of performance, compliance, and continuous improvement. Supporting the Superintendent Pharmacist Manager, this position blends hands-on dispensing leadership with people management, systems optimisation, and business-focused decision-making.

You will lead the dispensary team to achieve operational KPIs, uphold GPhC and CD compliance, and ensure patients consistently receive timely, safe, and compassionate care. This is a people-first leadership role where team engagement, patient satisfaction, and pharmacy excellence go hand in hand.

This role is right for you if you are a detail-oriented and solutions-driven leader with a strong technical grounding in pharmacy operations, controlled drug handling, and team management. You thrive in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment and lead by example through clarity, calm, and accountability. You see compliance and efficiency as key enablers of growth and you genuinely care about building a cohesive, high-performing team that puts patients first. You're excited to contribute to innovation in healthcare and want to make an impact at both the team and business level.
