We have an exciting new opportunity for an Assistant Planner to join our team.

Role Summary:



We are recruiting for an Assistant Planner who will be responsible for overseeing the production planning and scheduling process to ensure efficient and timely manufacturing operations.

The key responsibilities will include:



Develop and implement effective production planning strategies to ensure on-time manufacturing and delivery of products. Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and production teams to align material availability with production schedules. Monitor production progress, resolve scheduling conflicts, and adjust plans as necessary. Analyse demand forecasts, capacity constraints, and inventory levels to optimise production efficiency. Work closely with sales, operations, and logistics to balance supply and demand requirements. Implement and oversee production planning tools and software to enhance scheduling accuracy. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline planning processes and increase efficiency. Analyse, challenge and escalate stock variance(s) including 3PL managed warehouse Support Project Planner with mid term planning for the business

The person we are looking for:



Proven experience in production planning within a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of supply chain, inventory management, and capacity planning. Analytical skills with experience in data analysis and forecasting. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. Someone will strong knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies. Someone will strong ( Intermediate ) levels of excel including root cause analysis
