We're looking for a motivated and organised Assistant Planner/Scheduler to support the coordination of our specialist fleet and operational teams. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem?solving, and wants to develop their skills within a busy operational setting.
Key Responsibilities
Support daily planning and scheduling of vehicles and operatives across multiple sites
Assist with allocating resources based on job requirements, availability, and location
Help manage last?minute changes, cover needs, and urgent client requests
Communicate with supervisors to confirm logistics and updates
Maintain accurate records of schedules, job sheets, and operational changes
Contribute to safety and compliance through clear, consistent planning support
Ad?hoc tasks and cover duties as required
What We're Looking For
Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask
Good communication and teamwork across departments
Confidence using scheduling tools
Experience in logistics or construction is beneficial but not essential
A proactive, calm approach when plans change at short notice
