Supporting the Practice Manager/Practice in the day-to-day operations of the practice.
Liaising with relevant staff to ensure an effective appointment system for all services, ensuring the clinical session structure is effective, meets the needs of the patients and clinicians have access to suitable rooms.
Provide initial guidance and advice to patients who wish to complain.
Monitoring compliance with health and safety legislation, providing leadership and direction for staff.
Identify and develop, implement deliver and embed an effective practice training programme for all staff (clinical and administrative) liaising with external agencies when necessary and maintaining a training record.
Manage compliance registers, supporting the practice management team ensuring DBS checks are conducted for appropriate staff.
Assisting the management of the clinical system, ensuring IT security and IG compliance at all times.
Responding and resolving all local IT issues where appropriate.
Supporting the effective use of ERS, EPS, Docman and other IT programmes.
Monitoring and disseminating information on safety alerts and other pertinent information.
Support the management team in the compilation of practice reports.
