We are looking for a Cleanroom Supervisor to join a rapidly growing team that provides Ready to Administer IV medicines from our busy unit at Moor House, Hunslet. We operate under an MHRA specials licence providing high quality pharmaceutical IV medicines to patients throughout the trust.
The successful applicant will be responsible for in-process supervision and reconciliation of Ready to Administer products to the patients in the Trust, which supports the nursing staff at ward level. Although this post has no direct patient contact, the service we provide offers high quality pharmaceutical products to help our patients.

All candidates must have an NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services. Previous experience in a pharmacy aseptic preparative service will be an advantage, however full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Main duties of the job
This role involves the direct supervision of the preparation of Ready to Administer IV medicines including pre and in process checking and supervision of staff. You will also be involved in reconciling and visually inspecting IV medicines.
You will support the Specialist and Higher-Level Technicians by helping to plan the days work, ensure all batches are prepared according to standard operating procedures, and model Good Manufacturing Practice at all times.
To perform in this role, you will need to have good manual dexterity and a high ability to concentrate whilst maintaining accuracy. There is also a requirement to wear PPE.
You will also be involved in training and development within the team. Experience of training others may be beneficial.
The post is a full-time post of 37.5 hours per week, to be worked flexibly over a 4-day working week (Monday to Friday) but the post holder must work until 7pm as part of some of the shifts. You will also be expected to participate in Bank Holidays and Weekends on a rota basis.
