About the Role

As the Assistant Product Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Product Marketing team in tactical, process-driving marketing tasks across product categories within the Professional Hygiene Business Unit. Together with the Product Marketing team you will drive and execute assortment changes that build value focusing on: launch excellence, product portfolio management and assortment optimization.

This is a permanent role based at our Dunstable office working Monday- Friday allowing for hybrid working.

What You Will Do

  • Assist the Product team in tactical implementation of tasks related to product lifecycle management (PLC)
  • Manage product content which includes activation, correction, and removal of products to ensure the right products are displayed in downstream applications such as websites and customer portals.
  • Coordinate competitive benchmarking and product testing and management of database.
  • Participate in projects and support regional marketing teams as assigned by product management in data management, intellectual property and product certification, customer bids and tenders.
  • Provide product support to customer marketing, segment marketing, customer service and sales.
  • Support execution and follow up of product launches.
  • Support Product Phase-In, Phase-Out (PIPO) process resulting from product changes and launches including coordination with sales, customer service, product supply, production planning.
  • Develop training and related product literature and catalogues.
  • Support in translation of Product literature
Who You Are
  • University Degree or equivalent
  • Proven experience in a product or marketing role
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft tools
  • Accountable
  • Able to work effectively in cross-functional team environment
  • Good communicator and team player
  • Dynamic and adaptable
  • Action and goal oriented with a high degree of self-management
