The role
As an Assistant Project Manager, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. Help shape the future of Devonport's infrastructure with our expanding Site Operations Project Department. Following major investment in site-wide improvements, we're growing our core team to deliver a range of high-impact upgrades across Devonport and beyond.
Day-to-day, you'll supports infrastructure upgrade projects across Devonport by coordinating technical delivery, managing programme updates, and overseeing financial performance throughout all project stages.
The Site Operations Project Department is responsible for delivering extensive and diverse infrastructure upgrades and improvements across the entire Devonport Site and often beyond.
This role is full time, 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements.
Essential experience of the Assistant Project Manager
Relevant knowledge and experience of the application of H&S Regulations.
Knowledge of APM philosophy and responsibilities.
Organisation skills and the ability to self-manage and produce information and reports.
Competence using Microsoft Office software.
Qualifications for the Assistant Project Manager
HNC in an engineering / construction subject.
APM qualification. This may however be waived for a period depending on the level of the applicant's experience and capability.
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
