Summary:



We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Assistant Property Manager or Property Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in supporting the day-to-day operations of our residential property portfolio, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, managing contractors, and delivering exceptional service to residents. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property management, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:



Assist in the management of residential properties, ensuring they are maintained to a high standard. Coordinate and oversee fire door inspections, fire risk assessments, and remedial works. Liaise with contractors and obtain competitive quotes for maintenance and safety-related jobs. Ensure all works are signed off by the Health and Safety Manager and properly invoiced. Maintain accurate records of inspections, assessments, and completed works. Communicate effectively with residents, addressing concerns and issuing formal correspondence when required. Support the building safety team in daily reporting and compliance tracking. Ensure all properties meet current health and safety regulations and internal audit standards. Collaborate with accounts to ensure timely billing and payment processing. Contribute to the development of new safety-focused roles and initiatives within the office.

Qualifications & Experience:



Proven experience in property management or a related field (Assistant or full Property Manager level). Strong understanding of residential health and safety compliance, including fire safety. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple contractors and projects simultaneously. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Relevant qualifications in property management, health and safety, or facilities management (desirable). Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in residential property safety.

Salary depending on experience



Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 24,000.00-28,000.00 per year
