An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Thistle Manor to work as an Assistant Psychologist within the home. The team includes a full multidisciplinary team who work dynamically to empower the residents to engage in tailored rehabilitation care pathways.

Psychology Service.

The Psychology Service provides clinical input for service-users within an adult mental health residential service. The key elements of this role are: (i) to complete a range of assessments (e.g. cognitive, mood, neuropsychological and behavioural), (ii) to contribute to the provision of clinical case formulation and the delivery of therapeutic input to individual service-users, (ii) to contribute to treatment and care plans for individual service-users' rehabilitation and recovery pathways.

Job Purpose.

To provide the service with support to the consultant clinical psychologist in delivering a professional and highly specialised service to service-users.

Essential Education, Qualifications, Training, and Registration required for post.



Evidence of essential qualification will be required prior to employment commencing.

Entitlement to graduate membership of the British Psychological Society.

Upper class honours degree or higher in Psychology or relevant Honours degree.

Willing to undertake any training or qualifications as deemed necessary by the organisation.
