About the Role



We are looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who shares our approach, valuing craftsmanship and attention to detail as much as commercial outcomes.

As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will support the financial and contractual management of our projects, from early cost planning through to final account. You will work closely with clients, architects, site managers, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered with clarity, fairness and value, while gaining hands-on experience and professional development.

As a small company you would be a key member of the team, and take a flexible, hands on approach to the projects.

What We Are Looking For



A background in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or hands-on experience in construction or project pricing. A developing knowledge of contracts (RIBA, JCT etc), procurement, estimating and project accounting. Experience or interest in building, fit-out or fabrication projects. Previous knowledge or placement experience is desirable. Confidence using project software, especially spreadsheets, task management, gantt software. Strong numerical and analytical skills, with attention to detail. Clear communicator, both written and verbal, with the ability to work well in a team. Willingness to learn how to interpret drawings, specifications and contracts. A developing understanding of the relationships between architects, clients, contractors and suppliers. A proactive attitude, with curiosity about risk, safety, logistics and how projects come together on site.
