We are now seeking an

Assistant Electrical Quantity Surveyor

to support our commercial and project teams. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated junior professional looking to grow their career in electrical project surveying and commercial management.

Key Responsibilities:

Support senior Quantity Surveyors in preparing tender submissions and cost estimates Assist with procurement and coordination of supply chain for electrical works Help manage commercial aspects of live projects, including costs, variations, and reporting Support monthly applications for payment (AFP), invoicing, and bill approvals (IAS) Assist in the preparation of valuations, final accounts, and contractual documentation Attend meetings with project teams and suppliers to gain commercial experience Maintain accurate project records and assist with reporting

Requirements:

Degree in Quantity Surveying (BSc / BEng) or related discipline Some experience or training in Quantity Surveying, preferably within electrical or M&E projects Knowledge of construction contracts and commercial processes (NEC, JCT, or similar) desirable Strong numerical and analytical skills Good communication, organisation, and teamwork skills Willingness to learn and develop within a busy infrastructure environment
