Stirling Medical & Scientific Ltd are a growing company and looking for new talent to join our team, to support with joinery and kitchen fit-out estimating and quantity surveying.

In this role you will review Construction Tenders for Fit-out, Joinery and FF&E packages, Architect designs, prepare accurate cost estimates and proposals, quantity surveying, collaborate with designers, clients and suppliers to meet the project brief, ensuring value for money while maintaining the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities

Estimating and Quantity Surveying: Analyse project requirements and tender packages, prepare detailed cost estimates and schedules, and provide accurate pricing for kitchen designs, materials, and labour. Collaboration: Work closely with designers, project managers, and clients to review tender packages, designs and ensure schedules align with project specifications and budgets. Supplier and Manufacture proposals: Source and negotiate prices with suppliers for materials, fixtures, and appliances to secure competitive pricing. Cost Analysis: Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for projects. Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation of estimates, proposals, and quotations. Customer Engagement: Address client inquiries regarding pricing and provide clear explanations of cost breakdowns. Market Research: Stay up to date with industry trends, pricing, and product innovations to maintain competitive and accurate estimations. Quality Control: Ensure all estimates comply with company standards, policies, and client requirements.

Requirements

Proven Quantity Surveying experience within Construction/Fit-out industry. Joinery and Kitchen/Bedroom/Bathroom experience will be a benefit. Strong understanding of joinery and/or kitchen design principles, materials, and construction techniques. Familiarity with estimating software and spreadsheets. Excellent numerical and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail. Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Problem solving ability and the capacity to find cost effective solutions while maintaining quality standards.

Pay: 35,000.00-45,000.00 per year
