A bit about the role

Our Rossorry Grove Supported Accommodation is a purpose built 13 apartment supported accommodation service for young people who were homeless or at risk of becoming so. We work with young people aged 16 to 21 years, many of whom have been in care and / or struggle with significant mental health concerns and substance misuse issues.

Each young person will have their own self-contained flat and staff work closely with them to support their development of independent living skills and enabling them to move safely into the community.

As an Assistant Residential Worker, you\'ll build and maintain professional working relationships with our young people and their families, by providing emotional, social and practical support. You\'ll work as part of a fantastic, committed team to provide a high quality and person-centred care to our young people and their families, ensuring the views and needs are heard and responded to by promoting communication and participation.

Working in residential care can be extremely rewarding. Our aim is to give every young person we work with the support and guidance to reach their potential and support their aspirations for a positive future, and continue to promote independence.
