We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic team. Duties
Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations to ensure smooth service delivery
Supervise and support front-of-house staff, including serving and bar personnel, to maintain high standards of hospitality
Coordinate food preparation and food safety procedures in line with health regulations
Monitor kitchen activities, including food production and cooking processes, ensuring quality control
Manage staff scheduling, training, and development to optimise team performance
Ensure compliance with food safety standards and hygiene regulations across all departments
Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels and placing orders as necessary
Handle guest enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance customer satisfaction
Assist in organising special events or promotions to boost restaurant visibility and sales
Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming environment for both staff and guests
Qualifications
Proven experience in supervising or managing within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and culinary techniques
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food production
Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster teamwork
Previous experience in restaurant operations, hotel management, or barista roles is highly desirable
Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally
Good organisational skills with attention to detail in service delivery and compliance standards
Exceptional communication skills to liaise effectively with staff and guests alike
