We are seeking a proactive and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the daily operations of our busy establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a solid background in food service. The Assistant Restaurant Manager will be responsible for assisting in supervising staff, maintaining food safety standards, and delivering outstanding service to our guests.

Duties



Support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring smooth service during shifts Supervise and motivate team members, including serving staff, kitchen personnel, fostering a positive work environment Assist with staff rotas, training, and development to optimise team performance Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and uphold high standards of cleanliness and hygiene Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards Manage customer relations, addressing complaints promptly and professionally Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management to minimise waste Support in coordinating restaurant activities during busy periods or special events Contribute to menu planning by providing insights on food presentation and culinary trends Uphold hospitality standards by delivering excellent service and creating welcoming atmospheres

Qualifications



Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within hospitality settings Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols Experience in supervising teams, with effective leadership and organisational skills Background in culinary arts or kitchen experience is highly desirable Familiarity with restaurant operations including food production, serving, and barista duties Excellent communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanour Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently under pressure Previous experience in hotel or hospitality environments is advantageous Demonstrated leadership qualities with a focus on team management and customer satisfaction
