Restaurant Manager
Duties:
- Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, including food production, customer service, and staff management
- Ensure that all food and beverages are prepared and served in accordance with company standards
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Train and supervise restaurant staff, including waiters, chefs, and dishwashers
- Create and implement policies and procedures to maintain a safe and clean working environment
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new menu items and specials
- Manage budgets and financial transactions, including cash handling and reporting
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the restaurant industry
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and restaurant management software
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or degree in hospitality management is a plus
