Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional service, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. Your leadership skills will be essential in guiding our kitchen and front-of-house staff to deliver an outstanding dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, including supervising staff and coordinating activities between the kitchen and dining areas. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen. Support the culinary team in food production, helping to prepare dishes as needed while ensuring consistency and quality. Train, mentor, and motivate staff to provide excellent hospitality and service to all customers. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies to ensure the kitchen is well-stocked. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during service to maintain guest satisfaction. Assist in implementing promotional activities and special events to enhance the restaurant's visibility and appeal.

Skills

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or hospitality environment. Strong knowledge of food production processes, culinary techniques, and food safety standards. Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team development and motivation. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with staff and customers. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for the hospitality industry with a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
