We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the smooth operation of our establishment. Duties
Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, including service, food preparation, and cleanliness.
Supervise and motivate team members to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high standards of hospitality.
Coordinate staff schedules, delegate tasks, and ensure efficient team management during shifts.
Oversee food safety procedures, ensuring compliance with health regulations and company policies.
Manage reservations and optimise seating arrangements to maximise customer satisfaction and turnover.
Handle customer enquiries or complaints professionally to ensure positive dining experiences.
Assist with inventory management, stock control, and ordering supplies as needed.
Contribute to training programmes for new staff members on service standards, food safety, and kitchen procedures.
Support promotional activities and special events to enhance guest engagement.
Requirements
Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within hospitality settings.
Experience in supervising teams, with excellent leadership and organisational skills.
Familiarity with restaurant operations including serving, barista work, or hotel experience is advantageous.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently under pressure.
Excellent communication skills with a friendly yet professional demeanour.
Ability to motivate staff and foster a positive team environment.
Previous experience in hospitality or culinary environments is essential; hospitality qualifications are desirable but not mandatory.
