Our Assistant Restaurant Manager will collaborate closely with the Deputy and Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations, ensuring every guest enjoys a warm, seamless, and memorable dining experience. You will lead and inspire the front-of-house team, uphold exceptional service standards, and contribute to the achievement of business objectives.

Key Responsibilities




Assist the Restaurant Manager in the daily running of the restaurant, ensuring seamless operations. Lead, motivate, and support the front-of-house team to deliver excellent guest service. Ensure all guests receive a warm welcome, attentive service, and a memorable dining experience. Handle guest enquiries and resolve any concerns promptly and professionally. Monitor and maintain service standards, cleanliness, and presentation throughout the restaurant. Assist with staff training, scheduling, and performance management. Support stock management, including ordering, rotation, and minimising wastage. Help implement and maintain health and safety, hygiene, and licensing regulations. Contribute to achieving financial targets by assisting with revenue control, cost management, and upselling opportunities.

Standards




To provide the highest level of service to all guests of Rudding Park. To ensure that all staff under your jurisdiction are fully trained and that training plans and records are kept for each individual staff member To carry out

training

as necessary to ensure that the policies and procedures laid down are followed by all staff under your jurisdiction. Be responsible for Health and Safety as an individual and also to work colleagues, guests and the business, reporting concerns through the Health and Safety processes and procedures. Ensure continuous professional development of self, including attending required training courses and seeking means of developing within the business Promote continuous improvement in the level of quality and guest care provided by the business and make proposals/suggestions where applicable Respect colleagues and the working environment at all times. Ensure high standard of dress and self-presentation within the working environment Undertake any other duties commensurate within the position for which you are qualified.
