Job description
We're looking for a Service Lead Assitant Manager. A key position that combines hands-on floor management/servce with essential administrative responsibilities. You'll work closely with the Restaurant Manager and General Manager to ensure smooth daily operations, exceptional guest experiences, and a positive, high-performing team culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support daily service, ensuring warm, professional and consistent guest experiences. Leading our team by example, with compassion and fair management style.
Prepare and deliver weekly staff training, encouraging team development and upholding service standards.
Oversee essential operational admin supporting the management team if asked.
Maintain and improve financial performance, including monitoring GP and margins.
Help implement and uphold systems, standards, and policies.
Bring ideas, energy and leadership to team meetings and day-to-day service.
Work closely with the management team to continuously enhance our offering.
What We're looking for:
Experience managing or supervising a team of 10+ in a hospitality setting.
Strong financial awareness with the ability to meet sales and cost targets.
A natural leader who leads by example and motivates others.
Passion for great food and thoughtful service, with a curiosity for wine.
A proactive mindset with a desire to grow and evolve with the business.
Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
Good wine knowledge.
