AN ASSISTANT RESTAURANT MANAGER
AT THE WESTIN LONDON CITY
What you'll be doing...
Reporting to the GM - Bars Restaurants, you can expect your working day to include the following.
Operational day-to-day running of the hotel restaurant
Rota preparation and ensuring appropriate staffing levels
Monitoring of service standards in the operation
Training and development of team members
Proactive and solution-orientated approach
Developing guest loyalty and repeat custom through excellent levels of service
Ensuring great liaison between front-of-house and back-of-house departments
Ensuring fluid communication during service periods
Engaging with and resolving guest issues as they arise and helping to set up processes to ensure they do not reoccur

To succeed in the role of
Assistant Restaurant Manager
, you will need the following qualities and skills:
Wine knowledge and service
Spirits, wine and general beverage knowledge
Confidence in guest engagement and problem resolution
Team player who can be flexible and happy to both cover shifts and work in other areas as part of their weekly rota structure.
Experience in a similar role in a five-star hotel would be highly desirable.
