Role Overview
The Assistant Restaurant Manager supports the Restaurant General Manager in overseeing daily operations to ensure consistently excellent service, high-quality standards, and outstanding customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth, efficient, and high-quality service.
Assist in leading, training, and motivating the restaurant team to deliver exceptional customer service aligned with 5-star standards.
Help maintain high levels of guest satisfaction by ensuring consistency in service delivery and addressing guest feedback in a timely and professional manner.
Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of efficient operational systems, policies, and procedures to improve productivity and service flow.
Support compliance with all health, safety, and licensing regulations, and help train team members on safety procedures.
Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activities to provide input for strategy and service improvement.
Ensure all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and checklists are current and regularly updated.
Assist in staff scheduling, timekeeping, and basic payroll duties to ensure optimal resource management and shift coverage.
Coordinate closely with the culinary team to ensure effective communication and collaboration between front and back of house operations.
Requirements
Lawful permanent resident, eligible to work in the UK
* Proven experience as an Assistant Restaurant Manager premium, high-volume lifestyle or premium Japanese restaurant
