La Palombe is a friendly neighbourhood bistro in Kensington working to Michelin level standards. Our food is some of the best you will find in London and our service is extremely friendly and warm.
We are recruiting a remarkable assistant restaurant manager to join our team. The candidate will liaise directly with our Restaurant Manager as well as the owners and will be responsible for maintaining excellent standards of guest service and restaurant operations.
We are a young and professional team who enjoy working in a busy environment where the focus is always on outstanding customer service. We pride ourselves on creating a unique and wonderful dining experience.
This position would suit an inspirational, vibrant person, passionate about French food & wines, who either already has experience as an assistant manager or strong head waiter in a busy environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support the RM in managing day-to-day FOH operations Lead by example on the floor, providing hands-on service Train, mentor, and supervise FOH staff Monitor reservations, guest feedback, and service flow Ensure health & safety and licensing compliance Assist with stock control, rotas, and team performance reviews
About You
Previous experience in a supervisory or management role in hospitality Confident, approachable, and guest-focused Strong leadership and communication skills Calm under pressure and solutions-driven Passionate about food, drink, and great service Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Pay: 36,000.00-40,000.00 per year
