Duties



Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring efficient service and adherence to quality standards. Supervise and train staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and serving procedures to enhance team performance. Manage inventory and food production processes to maintain optimal stock levels and minimise waste. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards. Foster a positive working environment through effective team management and leadership practices. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times. Collaborate with kitchen staff to develop new menu items that reflect current trends and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the restaurant, including dining areas and kitchen facilities.

Requirements



Proven experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking methods, and food safety regulations. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Previous experience in food production or kitchen management is highly desirable. Familiarity with barista duties is a plus for establishments offering coffee services. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service excellence. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by the business needs. A passion for the hospitality industry with a commitment to delivering high-quality service. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.21-13.21 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 45 per week
