We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the smooth operation of our busy establishment. Duties
Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Supervise and motivate staff, including servers, kitchen personnel, and baristas, fostering a positive team environment.
Support food preparation and cooking processes to maintain high culinary standards.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
Manage reservations, organise staff schedules, and coordinate service flow during busy periods.
Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies to ensure smooth kitchen and service operations.
Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to uphold excellent service standards.
Assist in training new staff members and conducting performance reviews.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the restaurant environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Experience
Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices.
Experience in team management, with the ability to lead by example and motivate staff effectively.
Knowledge of restaurant operations, including serving protocols and hospitality standards.
Familiarity with culinary techniques, food production processes, and kitchen experience is highly desirable.
Previous hotel or barista experience is advantageous but not essential.
Demonstrated leadership skills with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences.
