We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the daily operations of our busy establishment. Responsibilities
Assist in managing daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and high standards of service.
Supervise and support team members, including serving staff and kitchen personnel, fostering a positive work environment.
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality and consistency.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health standards across all departments.
Support in supervising food production, kitchen activities, and ensuring timely delivery of orders.
Assist with organising staff schedules, training programmes, and performance evaluations.
Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to guarantee customer satisfaction.
Contribute to menu planning and development in collaboration with the head chef or culinary team.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the restaurant premises at all times.
Support barista services or bar operations when required, ensuring excellent beverage quality.
Skills
Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Strong team management abilities with leadership qualities that motivate staff.
Extensive restaurant experience, including food preparation, cooking, and food safety standards.
Knowledge of culinary techniques, food production processes, and kitchen operations.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Exceptional communication skills to liaise effectively with staff and customers alike.
Familiarity with hospitality industry standards, including serving protocols and customer service excellence.
Ability to handle stressful situations calmly whilst maintaining professionalism.
