Assistant Restaurant Manager - The Dining Room

Location: Seaham Hall, County Durham

Salary: Up to 30,000 (DOE) + a share of monthly service charge, approx. 2k a year

Hours: 40+ hours including weekends & bank holidays, various shift patterns to cover breakfast through to dinner service.

? The Role

Support the Restaurant Manager in leading and inspiring the team. Oversee daily service - from breakfast through to dinner - ensuring every guest leaves with unforgettable memories. Train, mentor, and motivate team members to deliver excellence. Deputise for the Restaurant Manager when required. Maintain smooth, professional operations across all shifts.

We're looking for a hospitality professional who brings:

Experience

in bar/restaurant management with a hands-on approach.

Customer service flair

- you thrive on creating unforgettable guest experiences.

Confidence with tech

- including Microsoft systems and Micros/Simphony EPOS.

Leadership & teamwork

- a natural motivator with the ability to step up and take initiative.

Polish & professionalism

in every interaction.
