Duties
Assist in overseeing daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth service and high-quality customer experiences.
Supervise and train staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and serving procedures to maintain consistency and excellence.
Manage inventory levels, including food production and supplies, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Foster a positive work environment through effective team management and leadership practices.
Collaborate with the head chef to develop menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
Ensure adherence to food safety standards and regulations throughout all kitchen operations.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally to enhance guest satisfaction.
Assist in scheduling staff shifts and managing payroll processes as required.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential; supervisory experience is highly desirable.
Strong culinary skills with knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
Excellent leadership abilities with a proven track record in team management.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food production.
Experience in barista duties or hotel management is advantageous but not mandatory.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on customer service excellence.
