Job Description

We are looking for a strong, experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our award winning team at The Farmers Arms in Woolsery, North Devon. Our food ethos is a hyper-local British flavour profile, focusing on what is supplied from our own 150 acre farm. It is a historic Grade II listed pub, full of modern twists, where we serve amazing food, with warm, approachable service.

Our menu is all fresh and made in house, along with our drinks program of seasonal cocktails and local ales. Our Sunday menu is a three course family sharing concept.

Must haves for the role;

absolute passion for hospitality, food and customer service

flexibility with hours, to cover lunch and dinner service, including weekends

two or more years in a comparable role and environment

Day to day of the role;

cover in all positions; host, server, bartender, food runner

lead the team, by example, with clear communication and excellent attitude

work with our reservations and POS systems

run services, giving flawless customer service and keeping the team operating at their best

support the Restaurant Manager, Head Chef and be a part of the management team
