Fir Vale Academy are seeking a highly motivated and well-organised individual to join our Safeguarding Team to support the Designated Safeguarding Lead.
The successful candidate will be working under guidance, you will help address students' physical and mental health needs, reduce barriers to learning, and promote emotional resilience. You will be an effective communicator, committed to student welfare, able to work collaboratively with students, staff, external agencies, and families.
Previous experience working with vulnerable students and families is desirable. The role includes regular administrative duties, so good Microsoft Office skills are beneficial.
Some out-of-hours work may be required. The ability to attend off-site meetings or home visits is necessary; car ownership is advantageous but not essential.
