Trauma & Orthopaedic Assistant Service Manager
6 month secondment opportunity
This is an exciting secondment opportunity for an enthusiastic, hard-working candidate to work closely with the Trauma & Orthopaedic Service Manager within the Surgery Division.
Main duties of the job
You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of patient care. The post-holder will be expected to identify and implement initiatives to improve services, with delegated responsibility from the Service Manager, and lead designated projects to ensure key performance targets (clinical, operational and financial) are met.
The post holder will manage the Trauma co-ordinator / Patient Pathway Co-ordinators and Assistants. The post holder will work closely with the Clinical and Nursing Leads to ensure a high standard of patient care is delivered within the Directorate.
This post will be based at St Helier, with occasional working at Epsom Hospital, with the expectation that the hours will be worked flexibly over 5 days to support the admin teams from the hours of 08.00 - 16.00
