This is a seasonal vacancy on a holiday park on the outskirts on Newquay. It begins at the end of March 2026. In house training courses will be required to be completed before in shop training begins.
Role responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of the shop, including inventory management, sales, and customer service
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and achieve targets
- Train and supervise shop staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Ensure the shop is clean, organized, and well-maintained
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional and timely manner
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, making adjustments as necessary
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products
- Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and expenses
Requirements:
- Own transport necessary due to shift patterns
- Strong organizational and leadership skills to effectively manage the shop
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Administrative skills to handle paperwork, record keeping, and other administrative tasks
- Sales management experience to drive sales growth and achieve targets
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers and provide exceptional customer service
