DE NADAS, London's first 'empanaderia' specialising in Argentinian hand-shaped empanadas, is hiring an Assistant Shop Manager to help run its shop in Shoreditch.

Reporting into the Area Manager, this is a full-time role across five days a week (to include 1-2 days at the weekend) & 30 minute paid breaks are included.

Salary & Benefits

Roles & Responsibilities

Managing part-time staff and organising the staff rota Serving customers (including operating the till, making coffee and heating empanadas) Ensuring the Shoreditch shop is fully stocked with empanadas, ie. arranging deliveries ahead of time from the central kitchen Overseeing catering & third party platforms (ie Just Eat for Business & Deliveroo) - pre planning stock and ensuring they ready for collection, organising delivery when needed Ensuring Shoreditch shop has all packaging it needs, as well as other products like coffee beans Ensuring all machinery is in good working order, alerting the Area Manager for any faults/ arranging for repairs where required, as well as managing decor requirements (ie repainting, marketing posters) Helping to forecast monthly sales, manage the staff rota and staff time off (i.e holidays and medical) Set up and cleaning of the preparation, serving and customer areas (including the outside Summer Terrace)

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum two-years experience working in hospitality; ideally in a 'grab & go' environment Experience of managing a small team Punctual, organised and friendly demeanour Good level of English (spoken) Ability to use Word, Excel for stock taking
