Toyland is a family run business with 10 stores in the North of England. We are looking for a confident Assistant manager to join our team .

25-30 hours per week

Must have previous experience in a similar role .

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Assistant Manager to oversee our retail establishment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations, leading a team, and ensuring excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

- Manage the shop's day-to-day activities and operations
- Supervise and motivate staff to achieve sales targets
- Implement effective sales strategies and promotional activities
- Ensure the shop is clean, organised, and visually appealing
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner
- Monitor financial transactions and cash handling procedures

Requirements

- Previous experience in team management and sales management
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.60-13.00 per hour
