This role is pivotal in supporting the delivery of critical infrastructure projects across the East Coast of Scotland, with a primary base in
Kirriemuir
.
What you'll be doing
Attend periodic project reviews.
Maintain accurate project records (progress, daily diaries etc.)
Prepare both internal/external reports and consult with stakeholders.
Help to ensure our teams provide relevant information to enable informed, cost and programme effective decisions.
Learning how to read technical information, routing, setting-out and drawings Ensuring a relentless focus on Safety Assisting in the management for the safety and welfare of the public, employees, and supply chain.
Attend periodic Safety & Environmental Tours/promote observation and safety initiatives.
Assist in implementing innovative solutions and closing actions from a technical, engineering and safety perspective.
Read and understand risk assessment, technical work instructions and method statements Identifying, raising, and reporting risks and hazards.
Help to update resource allocation plans and raise appropriate requests.
Plan own daily tasks Management of subcontractors, including monitoring of contractor attendance and progress, providing direct instruction and support as necessary, such that contractual arrangements are achieved Help to ensure procurement plans are available in line with the overall project plans, such that material/resources/supply chain can be delivered to meet scheduled deadlines.
Help to develop, implement, and periodically update resource loaded schedules.
Who we're looking for
+ Proficient in project communications
+ Able to communicate effectively both verbal and written with all levels of the organisation.
+ Good people skills that enable working relationships to be developed at all levels across the business and be able to negotiate.
+ Able to undertake work in high pressure situations with a flexible attitude.
+ Demonstrate awareness and support of the benefits of diversity and inclusion.

The following qualities/experience are desirable:
+ Proficient on O365 Holds a current driving license.
+ The role holder is preferred to have one or more of the following.
+ Training will be provided Holds or working towards a formal qualification (HND, BSc, MSc) Holds CSCS and SSSTS or similar.
