We are seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager to work as part of a team in order to deliver on completion of one of our projects.
Responsibilities
Play a part in daily operations on-site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Assist the site manager on project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to meet project goals.
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and others to ensure smooth running of the project.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process promptly.
Prepare and maintain daily reports on behalf of the senior management team on site.
Implement best practices in site management to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Skills
A background in residential fitout is required for this opportunity.
Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
Strong leadership abilities to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work environment.
Exceptional communication skills for liaising with clients, contractors, and team members.
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances on-site.
Knowledge of construction methodologies and safety standards is essential.
