(full time, 45 hours per week)

As an Assistant Site Manager, you'll help bring our developments to life. Supporting the Site Manager day-to-day, you'll play a key role in delivering homes safely, on time, and to the highest standards. You'll thrive on teamwork, take pride in quality, and care about doing things the right way - for the business, the build, and the customer.

What you'll be doing



Supporting the Site Manager to deliver construction projects to specification, programme, and quality Stepping up to manage the site during the Site Manager's absence Supervising trades and subcontractors, driving safe, high-quality work Maintaining quality control and supporting final inspections and snagging Assisting with material call-offs, deliveries, and on-site storage Keeping accurate daily and weekly site records Ensuring the site meets all Health & Safety Executive and CDM regulations Helping prepare handover documentation including HUGS packs and uploads to NHBC and Great Places portals Liaising with Sales, Contracts, and the wider team to ensure smooth customer journeys

What you'll need



Previous experience in construction or housebuilding Ability to interpret construction drawings and work independently Confidence working with trades and managing site tasks Working knowledge of building regulations, NHBC standards, and health & safety requirements Strong communication, organisational, and coordination skills

Passion for construction, quality housebuilding, and great customer service You will be required to attend a number of face to face training sessions as well as virtual sessions and e-learning this part of your role is vital and of equal importance as the day to day aspects. Empathy and professionalism when working with colleagues and customers A values-led approach - acting with integrity, inclusivity, and respect Ability to work in partnership with others across Great Places Flexibility to travel between sites and work outside standard hours if needed Self-reliance, resilience, and a proactive mindset
