Assistant Site Manager



Are you ready to take the next step in your construction career? Tom Willoughby are seeking a practical and driven Assistant Site Manager to join our growing team and support the successful delivery of a range of construction projects. This is a hands on role, offering the opportunity to take personal ownership of smaller scale works, while assisting with larger site operations across the board.

As Assistant Site Manager, you will support the Site Manager in the day to day running of site activities and may also take the lead on smaller projects independently. You will be responsible for ensuring that work is delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard - coordinating subcontractors, managing materials, and overseeing daily site operations.

Key Responsibilities:



Support overall site management and logistics on larger projects Personally manage and deliver minor works from start to finish Coordinate subcontractors and ensure adherence to site rules and safety standards Monitor and enforce HSE compliance (CDM, RAMS, etc.) Maintain accurate site records, reports, and daily logs Assist in progress meetings and reporting

What We Are Looking For:



Experience working on construction sites, ideally in a supervisory or assistant management role Experience working across multiple trades or disciplines SMSTS or SSSTS certification Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage smaller projects independently Good knowledge of health & safety regulations Strong communication and problem solving abilities Willingness to travel regularly Self motivated and ready to contribute to a growing team Ability to secure BPSS clearance
