This role involves supporting the Store Manager in daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales performance. The Assistant Store Manager will play a crucial role in team management, merchandising, and maintaining an organised store environment.

Responsibilities

Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations and achieving sales targets. Provide leadership and direction to team members, fostering a positive work environment. Supervise staff, including training new employees and role modelling the right mindset and behaviours Proactively drive the marketing strategy both on social media and with community links. Maintain high standards of customer service, addressing customer inquiries and concerns promptly. Manage inventory levels, ensuring stock is replenished efficiently and accurately. Develop and maintain administrative processes to support smooth store operations. Utilise effective time management skills to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines. Ability to work well under pressure and keep calm. Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure alignment on store goals.

Requirements

Proven experience in restaurant or store environment. Ideally, in a pizzeria setting. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on phone etiquette. Solid organisational skills with attention to detail in merchandising and administrative tasks. Experience in sales management, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends as needed for store operations. A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong time management capabilities.
