Bunchies is a fast-growing food brand specialising in burgers, wings, and our signature jerk chicken. We pride ourselves on quality, consistency, and creating an unbeatable customer experience. As we continue to expand, we are looking for a highly motivated and responsible Assistant Store Manager to become a key part of our journey. This is not a short-term role, we want someone who is ready to grow with us, learn our systems inside and out, and play a big part in shaping the future of Bunchies. For the right person, there is even potential to progress towards store shares and long-term leadership opportunities.

Role Overview

As Assistant Store Manager, you will be expected to take full ownership of store operations, supporting and deputising for the Store Manager when needed. This role requires someone who is proactive, experienced, and confident in building and improving systems that drive efficiency, consistency, and team performance. You will be responsible not only for the day-to-day running of the store, but also for motivating your team, ensuring customer satisfaction, and keeping standards at the highest level.

Key Responsibilities

Take responsibility for the full operation of the store, ensuring smooth and efficient service at all times. Lead, train, and motivate staff to deliver exceptional customer experiences. Learn our products in detail and ensure they are consistently served to the highest standard. Create and implement effective systems for stock management, cleanliness, staff performance, and service. Manage rotas, schedules, and operational paperwork to keep the store running efficiently. Be proactive in spotting issues and solving them before they become problems. Work closely with senior management to continuously improve systems and processes. Support with recruitment, training, and staff development. Maintain a clean, organised, and branded environment that represents Bunchies.
What We're Looking For

Proven management experience in hospitality, QSR, or retail. A proactive, responsible leader who can handle pressure and make decisions. Someone ambitious who wants to grow with the business, not just work a short-term job. Strong organisational and time-management skills. Ability to build systems and processes to ensure consistency. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage and motivate staff effectively. Passionate about food, quality, and customer service. Willingness to learn Bunchies' products and deliver them in the best possible way. Multilingual skills are an advantage for engaging with our diverse customer base.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 24,420.00-50,285.25 per year
