We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Store Manager to support the daily operations of our retail outlet. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supervising staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining the store's overall efficiency. Responsibilities

Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, including sales, merchandising, and customer service. Supervise and motivate team members to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional service standards. Manage staff schedules, delegate tasks, and monitor performance to ensure operational efficiency. Maintain organised stock levels through effective merchandising and inventory management. Support recruitment, training, and development of new staff members. Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues promptly while maintaining professional communication skills. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the store environment. Analyse sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth. Assist in administrative duties such as reporting, stock control, and documentation.

Requirements

Proven management experience within retail or sales environments, with supervisory or team management responsibilities. Strong leadership qualities with excellent organisational skills and time management abilities. Effective communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases. Experience in merchandising, sales management, and administrative tasks. Demonstrated ability to supervise teams, motivate staff, and foster a positive working environment. Exceptional phone etiquette and organisational skills for handling customer interactions professionally. Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail. Previous experience in retail management or related fields is preferred but not essential.
