About the role?



An exciting opportunity has arisen at Wongs Jewellers for an

Assistant Store Manager

. This is your chance to help lead a talented, award-winning team in one of the UK's most prestigious independent jewellers.

Working alongside the Store Manager, you'll play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the store, managing a dynamic team across the sales floor and collaborating with our in-house goldsmiths. You'll be key to maintaining our renowned in-store experience and driving both operational and commercial performance.

What We're Looking For:



We're seeking a confident and capable retail professional with leadership experience in the jewellery industry or a high-end/luxury environment. You'll bring energy, professionalism, and a passion for people.

You'll also be:

Highly organised and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on processes Motivational and supportive, able to energise and coach a team Commercially aware and KPI-driven, with a results-focused mindset Passionate about delivering exceptional, personalised customer experiences Confident in visual merchandising and upholding brand standards Comfortable communicating across all levels of the business Experienced in supporting recruitment and team development Social media savvy and comfortable promoting the brand online Well-presented with a polished, professional appearance

Key Responsibilities:



Support the Store Manager in all aspects of daily operations Help lead the team to deliver outstanding service and achieve sales targets Step up to lead in the Store Manager's absence Nurture strong customer relationships to build long-term loyalty Champion showroom presentation and visual merchandising standards Assist with stock control, store layout, and operational planning Support with training, coaching, and motivating team members Use social media and digital tools to engage and grow the customer base Oversee the customer journey from initial enquiry to post-sale care
